Hedgehogs are in serious decline in the UK with present population estimates of less than one million hedgehogs.

In the grounds maintenance industry it is very easy to injure or kill these lovely creatures, so it’s worth spending a few minutes checking in long grass and under shrubs before using the mower or strimmer.
